The spread of family cult, promotion of the principle of integrity and continuity of the essential category of the society is definitive for the civil status bodies system.

Launching of the competition titled "Solemn registration of jubilee marriage" in 2005 aimed at highlighting the above stated truth, encouragement of an exchange of experience in the field between the civil status officials and standardization of the existing practices.

 Organizational concept of the competition titled „Solemn registration of marriages” was undertaken and adjusted to the peculiarity of solemn registration of jubilee marriages.

 Thus, under Disposal on development manner of the regional stages of the republican competition there was approved the composition of Commission of deliberation, represented by the Coordinating Council members and heads of departments and directions of the Civil Status Service and the evaluation criteria of the participants in competition.

Totaling of the results of regional stages was conducted in strict accordance with the following requirements: dress, fluency, artistic presentation and scenario of the solemnity.

A special value was given to surprising moments of the scenario and use of folk elements. The final stage of the first edition took place on November 18, 2005 in the hall of the National Theater of Opera and Ballet.

Although the participants’ mission is one similar with the solemn registration of jubilee marriage, experience of the first edition of solemn registration of jubilee marriages impresses by the diversity of the scenarios imbued with family charm of the participants, ingenuity and creativity of the competitors expressed through content richness and depth of the ritual.

The participants enjoyed the pleasure of the festivity, and the evaluation commission highly appreciated the achievements of the employees of the civil status bodies system.

The winners of the republican competition titled "Solemn registration of jubilee marriages" are: Galina Dragnev - Head of Basarabeasca CSO, Colac Maria - Head of Riscani sector CSO, Elena Revencu – Head of Floresti CSO and Hairetdinova Irina – Head of Balti CSO.
